Indications:

• As an aid in prevention & control of M ycoplasma gallisepticum, M ycoplasma synoviae, Haemophilus, Streptococcus & Staphylococcus
• For increased rate of weight gain, egg

production and improved feed efficiency

Usage Directions:

10mg/kg or thoroughly mix 1.25 kg to 2.5 kg of Azeemycin 10 % in one tonne of complete poultry feed. The product application should be adjusted to meet the severity of the disease challenge, which varies with environmental and management conditions

Azeemycin MOA :

Azithromycin is a semi synthetic macrolide antibiotic derived from erythromycin. Azithromycin is a more popular choice than erythromyein because it has a longer half life and better bioavailibity. Macrolide antibiotics work by inhibiting protein synthesis of susceptible bacteria. Advanced generation macrolides characteristically produce high tissue concentrations and

comparatively lower serum concentrations. Az i t hro mye in co n ce nt r at es wit hi n polymorphonuelear leukocytes (PMN), which gravitate by chemotaxis towards the site of infection. Upon phagocytosis of the PMN, the intracellular pathogens are exposed to very high, potentially lethal antibiotic concentrations. Azithromycin has an extended tissue elimination half life. The p r o lo n ge d , h igh co n ce n t r at i o n of azithromycin at the site of infection allows lesser amount of product application & better efficacy. Azeemycin works by binding to the P site of the 50S ribosomal subunit of those microorganisms that are susceptible to it, thereby interrupting the microorganism’s RNA dependent protein synthesis
